Embodiment Construction

[0022] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0023] Referring to the accompanying drawings, the materials and instruments involved in the present invention include: glutaraldehyde solutions with a volume ratio of 1:0.2 and 1:3.5, a pipette gun, and a stopwatch.

[0024] according to Figure 5 The shown method flow has designed the following implementation steps:

[0025] (1) Prepare two kinds of glutaraldehyde solutions with glutaraldehyde (analytical grade) and deionized water at a volume ratio of 1:0.2 and 1:3.5;

[0026] (2) Use a pipette gun to drop a drop of liquid (0.05ml) on the surface of the bulk material such as the soil to be tested, and use a stopwatch to record the time required for the drop to infiltrate completely, unit: second. According to the size and shape of the sample surface, the titration position is distributed in an equilateral triangle at the center of the sample surface, and the ave...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting and evaluating degree of water repellence of granular substances such as soil mass and the like and belongs to the fields of environmental geotechnical engineering, disaster prevention and mitigation engineering, soil science and the like. According to the method, two glutaraldehyde solutions with a volume ratio of glutaraldehyde (50%) to deionized water being 1:3.5 and 1:0.2 respectively are prepared from glutaraldehyde (50%) and the deionized water, and the granular substances such as soil mass and the like with different degrees of water repellence are detected with a glutaraldehyde drop solution infiltration time method; during dropping, each drop of liquid is 0.05 ml, and time required for whole liquid infiltration is recorded; accordingto surface dimension and form of a sample, titration positions are distributed in a regular triangle shape in the center of the sample surface, and a tested average value of three points is taken as afinal result; water repellence and water repelling level of the sample are determined by referring to classification criterion of degree of water repellence. According to the method, a reagent is simple to prepare, operation is convenient and fast, cost is low, and detection precision is high.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a novel detection reagent and evaluation system for water repellency of bulk materials such as soil in the fields of environmental geotechnical engineering, disaster prevention and reduction engineering, soil science and the like, and belongs to the field of water repellency detection and evaluation. Background technique [0002] With the continuous research on the modification of soil and other bulk materials in the fields of environmental geotechnical engineering, disaster prevention and mitigation engineering, and soil science, the determination of the degree of water repellency after modification is a prerequisite for experimental research. There are two commonly used methods for testing the degree of water repellency of modified soils: the drip penetration time method (WDPT) and the alcohol solution infiltration method (MED). However, the drip penetration time method has the disadvantages of low detection accuracy and too ...
