The invention discloses an
electric arc additive thin-wall component strengthening and
toughening method based on
laser shock
peening. The method comprises the following steps that a thin-wall test piece is prepared; planning an unstrengthened area and a plurality of
laser shock strengthening sub-areas on the surface of the test piece; selecting a
laser shock
peening sub-region, selecting laser shock
peening parameters for laser shock peening, and adjusting the laser shock peening parameters until the
total thickness of the pore-free layer and the hardened layer meeting the target requirement is obtained, so as to obtain optimized laser shock peening parameters; and selecting a plurality of laser shock peening sub-regions, performing peening by adopting optimized laser shock peening, selecting annealing parameters for annealing treatment, and repeating the annealing parameter adjustment operation until the
total thickness of the pore-free layer and the hardened layer meeting the target requirement is obtained, so as to obtain optimized annealing parameters. According to the method, the pore-free layer and the hardened layer with reasonable thicknesses are generated on the surface of the additive aluminum
alloy thin-wall part, the near-
surface layer strength of the thin-wall part is improved, and the strength and
plasticity of the arc additive aluminum
alloy thin-wall part are improved at the same time.
