Embodiments of the present invention provide an array substrate and a display device, in the field of display technology, which can solve the problem that a GOA circuit occupies more wiring space in order to increase the capacity of a bootstrap capacitor. The array substrate includes an effective display area and a non-display area located around the effective display area. The array substrate also includes a gate drive circuit located in the non-display area and multiple columns of dummy sub-pixels, and the dummy sub-pixels are arranged close to the effective display area. At least some of the dummy sub-pixels are provided with auxiliary capacitors. The shift register unit in the gate drive circuit is connected to the auxiliary capacitor, and the auxiliary capacitor constitutes at least a part of the bootstrap capacitor in the shift register unit. The above-mentioned array substrate is used to form a display device.
