The method comprises the steps: reading the height and width of a current display page when the page attribute of the current display page is detected to be a zooming-out forbidding attribute, and building a canvas according to the height and width; calling a preset screenshot instruction to perform screenshot on the current display page to generate a screenshot picture, and adding the screenshot picture into the canvas to generate a page image; and calling a preset zooming-out instruction, generating zooming-out information according to the preset zooming-out instruction, and adding the zooming-out information into the page image to zoom out the page image. According to the scheme, the page image is generated based on the image processing technology, the content displayed in the generated page image is the same as the content displayed in the current displaypage, zooming-out of the content displayed in the current display page is achieved by zooming out the page image through the zooming-out information, and the viewing effect of the current display pageis improved.
