The method comprises the steps of obtaining an emergency number input in a dialing interface, detecting communication service states of a first SIM card and a second SIM card included in a terminal, and dialing out the emergency number based on the communicationservice states of the first SIM card and the second SIM card. By adopting the method of the invention, the SIM card can be intelligently selected to dial out the emergency number, and the success rate of emergency call is improved.
