The battery characteristic parameter extraction method comprises the following steps: dividing a charge-discharge curve of a positive electrode half battery and a charge-discharge curve of a negative electrode half battery respectively to obtain phase change reaction intervals of the charge-discharge curve of the positive electrode half battery and the charge-discharge curve of the negative electrode half battery in different SOC intervals; according to the phase change reaction intervals of the charge-discharge curve of the positive electrode half battery and the charge-discharge curve of the negative electrode half battery in the different SOC intervals, carrying out characteristic region division on a differential voltage curve of a total battery to obtain characteristic parameters of the differential voltage curve of the total battery; obtaining a full-battery characteristic capacity increment curve according to a conversion relation between the capacity increment curve and the differential voltage and the characteristic parameters of the full-battery differential voltage curve; and extracting recession characteristic parameters of the whole battery according to the characteristic capacity increment curve of the whole battery.
