Abstract

The invention discloses a page layout method. The method is executed in computing equipment, a page comprises a plurality of element rows, each element row comprises at least one element, the elementsare displayed by adopting a transverse floating layout and are separated from adjacent elements by adopting a preset edge distance. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the elements inthe page, and determining the initial position of each element in the page; sequentially executing the following processing steps on each element: judging whether the current element is a first element in a non-first row or not, the non-first row being an element row except the first element row in the page; if the current element is the first element of the non-first row, judging whether the current element is changed due to the edge distance, and if so, reducing the edge distance of the current element, so that the element is adjusted from the first element of the current element row to thelast element of the previous element row; and re-determining the position of the subsequent element in the page according to the adjustment result of the current element.
