The method comprises the steps that real-time operation data of an air conditioning unit are obtained, a judgment result that whether the real-time operation data are in a preset interval range or not is obtained, and whether fault early warning is carried out or not according to the judgment result; the preset interval range is a dynamic range, and is determined by functions related to current operation environment parameters; and real-time multi-machine operation data of multiple air conditioners at the same operation environment are obtained, and according to the real-time multi-machine operation data and the real-time operation data of any air conditioner of the multiple air conditioners, whether the faultearly warning is carried out on one or more of the air conditioners or not is judged. The health state of the air conditioners can be better monitored, and the preventive maintenance is effectively supported and helped. The invention further discloses a device for processing the air conditioner operation data.
