The sewage treatment system comprises a pretreatment device, a biochemical reaction tank, a first ozone oxidation tank, a first MBR reactor, a second ozone oxidation tank and a second MBR reactor which are connected in sequence, gas is provided for the biochemical reaction tank by an aeration device; a gas outlet ofthe biochemical reaction tank, a gas outlet of the first ozone oxidation tank and a gas outlet of the second ozone oxidation tank are connected with a tail gas treatment device; and sludge recovered by the first MBR reactor and the second MBR reactor flows back to the biochemical reaction tank. According to the sewage treatment system and method, BOD and COD in sewage can be effectively reduced, sludge and odor in the sewage treatment process can be reasonably treated, and the secondary pollution risk caused by the sludge and the odor is reduced.
