Abstract

The method comprises the steps of: building a training sample through the observation data of a dual linear polarization radar, fitting a statistical sample through two-dimensional Gaussian distribution and one-dimensional normal distribution, building a model of ZH-ZDR, LKDP and a cross correlation coefficient CC, calculating hail and non-hail probabilities on each radar observation distance library, interpolating sounding temperature to radar observation coordinate height, constraining hail identification by using temperature information and statistics of a probability density function of hail at vertical height, and determining corresponding severe convection three-dimensional structure information by calculating the vertical accumulated liquid water content, so as to judge whether hail exists at a corresponding position.
