Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: sending a discovery message in a multicast and/or broadcast mode, and monitoring a response message sent by equipment according to the discovery message; analyzing first equipment information included in the response message, and updating the first equipment information to a preset equipment information list; obtaining a to-be-searched IP address, matching the to-be-searched IP address with the first equipment information list, and determining an unmatched IP address; and determining second equipment information corresponding to the unmatched IP address according to the unmatched IP address unicast discovery message and a response message of the equipment, and updating the second equipment information to the equipment information list. The first equipment information is acquired in a multicast and/or broadcast mode, and the second equipment information acquired by unicast is combined, so that the requirement of accurately discovering the equipment information in a specified IP range can be quickly and effectively met.
