This disclosure provides a soft reset circuit for simulating neurons, comprising a
membrane potential accumulation module, a pulse generation module, a reset
signal generation module, and a soft reset module. The soft reset module includes a reset
capacitor connected in series with a membrane
capacitor, a first switching element connected between the membrane
capacitor and the reset capacitor, and a second switching element connected in parallel with the reset capacitor. The soft reset module receives a reset
signal from the reset
signal generation module. When the reset signal is at a first level, it turns off the first switching element and turns on the second switching element. When the reset signal is at a second level, it turns on the first switching element and turns off the second switching element, thereby causing the membrane capacitor to
discharge to the reset capacitor. When the
voltage of the reset capacitor exceeds a predetermined value, it turns off the first switching element, stopping the
discharge of the membrane capacitor.
