Abstract

An image off-line processing method is used for obtaining images of different parts of a same work piece from image measuring station via computer. The method comprises: storing image of different parts of the work piece obtained from an image capture card in the computer into a image resource file, the image resource file contains width and height information of the image, title, center point coordinates and pixel value of each image; opening the image resource file, combining a plurality of images in a global graph of the work piece according to center coordinate of each image in the file; when the user selects element from the global graph for measurement, establishing a new coordinate system if necessary, recording and displaying each of the established coordinate system; calculating and returning sub-image of the position wherein the element is selected, the measuring the returned sub-image. The invention also provides an image off-line processing system. With application of the invention, the image storing space can be reduced, the time occupation for large size work piece and massive measurement process can be reduce at the same time.
