Abstract

The invention discloses a method, equipment and a system for synchronizing a user context, which are used for an evolution packet system (EPS) which activates the idle state signaling reduction (ISR) function of user equipment (UE). The EPS comprises a first mobile management control entity, a second mobile management control entity and a serving gateway (GW), wherein the serving GW is used as a user plane terminal node of the UE under the idle state. In the process of the release of the interface between the first mobile management control entity and a wireless access network, the method forsynchronizing the user context comprises the following steps: the first mobile management control entity or the serving GW sends the user context synchronizing command information to the second mobile management control entity, and the second mobile management control entity uses the EPS in the user context synchronizing command information to bear the user context and update the user context perse.
