Abstract

The invention discloses an apparatus and a method for testing light-gas surface tension and light-liquid interfacial tension by using a wilhelmy plate method. The apparatus comprises a weighting sensor, a displacement platform and a displacement sensor, a wilhelmy plate, a temperature control system, a temperature sensor, a sample pan, a sample stand, a motor system, software and the like. A wilhelmy plate analysis method is adopted, the sample pan provided with a sample to be tested is placed on the sample stand, the displacement platform raises under the control of the software; when the condition of the wilhelmy plate method is reached, the displacement platform stops raising, the software reads the value of the weighting sensor and the displacement value, carries out buoyancy correction, density correction, contact angle correction, zero position correction and unit conversion on the values, and finally displaces the measured surface tension or interfacial tension in real time; meanwhile, temperature values of the sample to be tested of corresponding time are recorded by the software.
