Example Embodiment

[0031] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the drawings and embodiments.

[0032] In the present invention, by adding the host identification HID in the IPv6 address format to the network layer of the host protocol stack, the identification of the transport layer is separated from the location identification of the network layer, and the mapping and encapsulation of the host identification and the location identification is realized on the peripheral router. The host identification format is the same as the IPV6 address format, so the host that has deployed the new identification separation protocol can also communicate with the host that has not deployed the new identification separation protocol.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for separating a host identifier (HID) from a locator based on an IPV6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) address, wherein the method is simple in operation, good in compatibility and capable of supporting the network mobility preferably. The method comprises the following steps: adding the HID onto a network layer in a TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) architecture at a host end, wherein the identifier is of an IPV6 address and can be formed into prefixes of 0000011+domain domain identifier and stand-alone identifier, and the address indicated by the prefix belongs to an address which is not distributed for use by the IPV6; disposing a mapping server at a position parallel to a DNS (domain name system) server on the network to manage the mapping of the HID and the locator, wherein the mapping server comprises an identifier management domain server IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and an identity-position mapping server IPS (Intrusion Prevention System); and comparing the address at the host end in order to distinguish a protocol provided by the method so as to determine the communication mode of the host.

Description

[0001] Technical field: [0002] The present invention relates to the technical field of network communication, in particular to a method for separating host identification and location identification based on an IPV6 address, and the method can be used in technical fields such as the development of a host system protocol stack. Background technique: [0003] With the continuous development of science and technology, various mobile network terminals are becoming more and more popular, and the mobility requirements of network access points are constantly improving. However, the current TCP / IP network architecture was originally designed for fixed networks, so it is not very good. support network mobility, and the root of solving this problem lies in how to solve the problem of IP semantic overload. [0004] The so-called IP semantic overload means that the IP address has dual semantic meanings, which not only represent the topological position of the network node, but also se...
