The method comprises the following steps of: first inserting the tail end of an upper plate conductor into an inner cavity enclosed by a sleeve wall of an upper connecting sleeve, and performing pressure welding by using a miniature hydraulic machine in a way that the external diameter of a joint is pressed to be the same as that of the conductor; then inserting the tail end of a lower plate conductor into the inner cavity enclosed by the sleeve wall of a lower connecting sleeve, and performing the pressure welding in a way the same as that of the upper connecting sleeve; and finally inserting the raised connecting end of the upper connecting sleeve into the groove connecting end of the lower connecting sleeve in an alignment way, and inserting cylindrical connecting pins of the upper and lower connecting sleeves into a central connecting pinhole to finish the connection of the two plate conductors. The connecting method provided by the invention is simple and convenient to operate; and the external diameter of the joint is the same as that of the conductor so as to smoothly pass through an extrusiondie to realize a non-stop production process as well as rapid continuous production after rapid die change, greatly reduce wasting in an extrusion process, reduce stop frequency, realize energy saving and consumption reduction and improve the production efficiency.
