The invention discloses an initial-final-stoke Chinese character input method ('initial-final-stoke' for short), which belongs to the technical field of computer information processing. The initial-final-stoke is a Chinese character input method in which initials, finals and strokes are taken as code elements. If Chinese characters are input by using the initial-final-stoke, typing is only required to be performed once averagely for each character. Memory factors are extremely fewer. By the initial-final-stoke, all Chinese characters and punctuations can be input by only 30 keys, not only the characters readable and writable for a user can be input, but also the characters which can be read but cannot be written by the user and the characters which can be read but cannot be written by the user can be input.
