Abstract

The invention discloses an input method for a mobile terminal. The method comprises the following steps of: detecting the input operation of a user under a current application program; when the input operation of the user includes a trigger instruction which is matched with a predetermined semantic model, displaying a starting entrance of an application program which corresponds to the trigger instruction in a candidate window of the current application program; and starting the application program which corresponds to the trigger instruction under the current application program according to the activation of the user on the starting entrance. By the invention, the interaction of the application programs can be supported, the operation steps of the user are reduced, operation smoothness is improved, and user experience is improved.
