Abstract

The invention discloses a base station of a world interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) system and a frequency reusing method for the WiMAX system. The WiMAX system adopts a time-frequency way. The method comprises the following steps of: dividing a downlink frame of the base station into an outer-ring area and an inner-ring area, wherein the inner-ring area carries management control messages or user data for inner-ring users, and the outer-ring area carries management control messages or user data for outer-ring users and broadcast messages for the outer-ring and inner-ring users; and adopting different orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) sub-carrier sets for different sections of the base station by using the outer-ring area. By the base station and the method, same frequency interference can be effectively reduced, and frequency spectrum utilization rate can be increased.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of WiMAX (World Interoperability for Microwave Access, World Interoperability for Microwave Access) communication, in particular, to a frequency reuse method of a WiMAX system and a base station of the WiMAX system. Background technique [0002] Frequency resource is a kind of non-renewable scarce resource. For any technology and network planning, frequency resource will not be used endlessly. Because of this, in the process of new technology development, it is necessary to study how to use frequency resources more effectively. This is also the sharing of frequency resources that domestic and foreign equipment manufacturers and operators are paying attention to. [0003] When the frequency resources of WiMAX operators are not abundant, the same-frequency networking method C×N×S of 1×1×3 may be adopted in wireless communication network planning, where C is the number of base stations in each cluster, and N is ...
