Abstract

The invention discloses a task tracking method for an evolved universal mobile telecommunications system radio access network (E-UTRAN) system. The method comprises the following steps of: creating a message which carries parameters of a plurality of tasks for tracking an identical user; and transmitting the message to an evolved Node B (eNodeB) so that the eNodeB creates the plurality of tasks according to the parameters to track the user. The invention also discloses the E-UTRAN system, which comprises a creation module, a transmission module and the eNodeB, wherein the creation module is used for creating the message which carries the parameters of the plurality of tasks for tracking the user; the transmission module is used for transmitting the message to the eNodeB; and the eNodeB is used for creating the plurality of tasks according to the parameters to track the user. By the method and the system, the plurality of tasks can be ensured to track a specified user at the same time.
