Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a system for realizing radio voice call continuity (RVCC). The method comprises the following steps that a core network determines and sends single RVCC (SRVCC) ability information shared with user equipment (UE) initiating the radio voice to a current radio access network system, wherein the shared SRVCC ability information shows the SRVCC ability information to different radio access network systems; and after the UE initiates the radio voice, the current radio access network system judges to trigger SRVCC to a target cell when judging that the SRVCC ability information sent by the core network shows support of the SRVCC ability to the target cell corresponding to the inter-system measurement report.
