Problems solved by technology

However, traffic is actually composed of tens of thousands of vehicles. Each vehicle is a process of movement and change. The traffic state is the collection of all vehicle movement processes. The existing evaluation methods lack the view of traffic congestion from the perspective of process. question

Embodiment Construction

[0025] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments, but not as a limitation of the present invention.

[0026] The traffic congestion evaluation method includes the following steps:

[0027] a. According to the speed change in the itinerary, the congestion sense increase curve and the congestion relief curve are respectively constructed. The congestion feeling increase curve is a relationship curve in which the congestion feeling intensity gradually increases with the speed from fast to slow when the speed is lower than the congestion threshold. The sense relief curve is a relationship curve in which the intensity of congestion feeling gradually decreases with the speed from slow to fast when the speed is not higher than the congestion threshold;

[0028] b. Divide the driving process into several congestion states according to the change of speed;

Abstract

The invention discloses a traffic congestion evaluation method. The method comprises the following steps of (a) respectively constructing a congestion sense increasing curve and a congestion sense relieving curve according to the change of velocity in a driving process; (b) dividing the driving process into a plurality of congestion states according to the change of the velocity; (c) constructing a congestion state transition diagram which is a front-back linked relationship diagram of congestion sense strengths corresponding to different congestion states, wherein the congestion sense strength of each congestion state is obtained according to the congestion sense increasing curve or the congestion sense relieving curve by using the velocity change between each congestion state and a previous state, the congestion sense increasing curve is selected in case of velocity reduction, and the congestion sense relieving curve is selected in case of velocity increase; (d) obtaining the congestion sense time accumulation of each congestion state in a manner that the congestion sense strength of each congestion state is multiplied by the duration of the congestion sense strength of each congestion state; and (e) summing the congestion sense time accumulation of all the states so as to obtain a congestion sense evaluation value of the whole driving process. According to the traffic congestion evaluation method, the difference of congestion senses caused by vehicle driving change can be given quantitatively.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of traffic congestion evaluation, in particular to a traffic congestion evaluation method capable of quantitatively measuring the change process of traffic congestion. Background technique [0002] Traffic congestion is a concentrated expression of various social contradictions such as uneven population distribution caused by unbalanced economic development, limited urban traffic supply, and mismatch between urban layout and economic development. It is a worldwide problem. In order to fully and deeply understand the nature of traffic congestion, provide support for traffic management, planning, policy introduction and other aspects of work, reasonably guide the public to travel, and effectively alleviate the increasingly severe congestion situation, a set of evaluation methods that can truly reflect the road congestion situation is needed. The existing traffic congestion evaluation methods are basically in t...
