Abstract

The invention discloses a seamless type data transmission system and method of a digital television network and a mobile communication network. The system receives digital television signals from the digital television system and detects the decoding error rate of the digital television signals at a first frequency. When the values of the decoding error rate detected at the first frequency are continuously larger than a first threshold value, the decoding error rate of the digital television signals is detected at a second frequency and the average signal intensity of the mobile communication network is detected. When the values of the decoding error rate detected at the second frequency are continuously larger than a second threshold value and the average signal intensity is continuously larger than a third threshold value, the network connection of the seamless type data transmission system and a multimedia server is built through the mobile communication network, and multimedia data are received by the multimedia server. The invention further provides a seamless type data transmission method of the digital television network and the mobile communication network.
