Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for capturing L2C signals in the GPS. The method includes the steps of firstly, generating periodic local CM code sequences, and adding the number zero behind each CM code sequence; secondly, setting up local composite codes according to the CM code sequences which are generated in the first step and where the numbers zero are added; thirdly, sampling the local composite CM code sequences generated in the second step to obtain N point long sequences and processing the N point long sequences; fourthly, sampling intermediate-frequency signals processed by the front end of a receiver according to the sampling rate; fifthly, conducting digital down conversion on the signals sampled in the fourth step to obtain carrier frequency cells to be searched; sixthly, selecting N point receiving signals from the fifth step to be processed; seventhly, multiplying the result obtained in the third step by the result obtained in the sixth step, and conducting processing to obtain N related values; eighthly, detecting the (W+nN)th code phase position according to the code phase position corresponding to the largest related value if the largest related value in the seventh step is larger than a preset capturing threshold; ninthly, adjusting a digital down conversion unit so as to search the next carrier frequency cell till the whole space to be searched is completely searched if no related values larger than the preset capturing threshold exist in the seventh step.
