Firstly, according to river ecological flow and water demand requirements regulated by a river management department, optimization objectives and constraint conditions are determined, a reservoir group ecological water utilization schedule optimization model is established, a weight set with multiple objectives is randomly generated and solved, and an optimal water supply scheme meeting a specific coordination value of the human social economy and ecology water lacking rate is determined; secondly, regulated reservoir capacities needed for water supplement of all reservoirs annually are calculated, and regulated reservoir capacities with the 90% guaranteed rate are selected; at least, regulated reservoir capacities without ecological objectives are worked out, and the difference value of the regulated reservoir capacities without ecological objectives is determined as the ecological reservoir capacity.
