Each of embodiments of the invention generally relates to a data communication method, a data communication device and a multimode communication terminal. Particularly, the invention provides the data communication method comprising detecting available Wi-Fi signal intensity in an area where the terminal is arranged; determining the data communication mode of the terminal based on the detected available Wi-Fi signal intensity; and performing data communication based on the determined data communication mode.
