Abstract

The invention provides a method for carrying out early-stage molecule screening of breast cancer by utilizing two methylation sites in a control region of a gene DFNA 5. In a methylation microarray data analytical process on two breast cancer cell lines, results show that methylation of two CpGs in the control region of the gene DFNA 5 is obviously lower than that of other genes, the demethylation of the gene DFNA 5 is supposed to be one important characteristic of pathogenesis of the breast cancer, and the two methylation sites can be used as one marker used for early-stage screening of the breast cancer. The marker provided by the invention can be possibly a cheap marker used for carrying out early-stage molecular screening of the breast cancer.
