The active-subscription-based task distributing mechanism comprises the following steps that firstly, a task type is defined; secondly, a consumer type is defined; thirdly, consumers subscribe for the tasks needing to be processed by the consumers; fourthly, an HASH table of a task subscription set is generated; fifthly, tasks are allocated; sixthly, the consumers accept the tasks. By means of the mechanism, the tasks produced by a workflow system can be accurately allocated to the consumers interested in the tasks in time, and the normal operation of a work procedure is promoted; the mechanism supports active subscription, and when there are subscribers for the type of the tasks produced by the system, the subscribers are selected at random or according to the grade so that the tasks can be allocated; when there is no subscriber for the type of the tasks produced by the system, the tasks are suspended till the consumers subscribe for the tasks.
