Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a head related pulse response three-dimensional data compression method. The method of the invention comprises: reconstructing an HRIR three-dimensional data to an HRIR with the minimum phase; de-convoluting the HRIR with the minimum phase into an elevation plane filter in a low order FIR form and a horizontal plane filter in a high order FIR form; modeling the horizontal plane filter in a high order FIR form into the horizontal plane filter in a low order IIR form, storing, by a processor, the elevation plane filter in a low order FIR form and the elevation plane filter in the IIR form to a local cache. Embodiments of the invention solve a problem of low compression rate of the HRIR three-dimensional data in the prior art.
