Abstract

The invention provides a random access method. The method comprises the following steps: transmitting a randomly-selected random access preamble; and receiving a random access response message, and if a conflict indication area in the random access response message indicates that a conflict occurs, ending a current random access process, and retransmitting a randomly-reselected random access preamble; alternatively, if the conflict indication area in the random access response message indicates that the conflict occurs, judging the priority of current random access, and if the priority is high, sending a random access message 3, and continuing the current random access process, otherwise, ending the current random access process, and retransmitting the randomly-reselected random access preamble.
