Problems solved by technology

This method must use a proprietary high-oil type induction line, and can only induce non-high-oil corn breeding materials, and the developed nuclear magnetic resonance automatic sorting system is expensive, which limits the popularization and application of this technology in the breeding process
[0003] Jones et al applied near-infrared spectroscopy to identify maize haploids, but the model needs to model haploids and hybrids with different genetic backgrounds separately, and existing models cannot identify grains that do not participate in the modeling background
This means that in breeding practice, remodeling means increased costs

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for identifying a corn haploid. The method for identifying a corn haploid, disclosed by the invention, is a method utilizing visible light diffuse transmission spectra to identify a corn haploid. The method comprises the following steps: (1) collecting the visible light diffuse transmission spectrum of each corn kernel in a model training sample by taking a plurality of corn haploid kernels and corn hybrid diploid kernels as the model training sample, and carrying out smooth vector normalization pretreatment on the collected original spectra data; carrying out principal component analysis on the obtained pretreatment data, and then establishing an identifying model for identifying the corn haploid kernels and the corn hybrid diploid kernels on the basis of support vector machine; and (2) identifying whether the corn kernels are haploids by utilizing the identifying model established in the step (1). The method can be used for identifying models of haploids coming from different genetic backgrounds. Meanwhile, the method provides theoretical guidance for developing an automatic haploid screening system on the basis of visible light spectrum technology and can meet the engineering requirements of DH breeding.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for identifying haploids of corn, in particular to a method for identifying haploids of corn by using visible light diffuse transmission spectrum. Background technique [0002] At present, the doubled haploid technology (DH technology) has been widely used in maize genetic research and commercial breeding to optimize resource allocation, improve research efficiency, and enhance its own competitiveness. It usually takes 6-10 generations to obtain stable inbred lines by traditional breeding methods, which takes a long time and consumes a lot of manpower and material resources. In the DH technology, the parental induced line is crossed with the breeding material to induce F 1 Grain, and then select the haploid grain containing a certain ratio (currently about 8% on average), and then process it through doubling technology, you can get an inbred line with a completely homozygous genotype within one year, which is called D...
