The invention also discloses the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal is controlled according to the method. Through adoption of the application rating method, rating flows of the applications on the mobile terminal are saved, and the occupation of rating effort of a user is reduced. Meanwhile, more fair and rational rating can be realized, and a reference value of application rating to a new user is increased.
