Problems solved by technology

But on the other hand, if figure 2 As shown, when the patient sleeps on his back and adjusts the head to the correct posture, the soft palate 33 will be pulled up and away from the upper airway 37, and the distance D between the front and rear walls of the upper airway 37 can be increased, but it still needs to be transmitted by oral negative pressure to Only by stabilizing the soft palate 33 can the airway be truly unblocked

Abstract

The invention provides a system for improving patency degree of upper respiratory tract and a method thereof. The negative-pressure respiratory therapy is utilized and the relative angle of a head, a neck, and a shoulder can be adjusted by a user. Therefore, the patency degree of upper respiratory tract of the user can be beneficially increased. The system comprises an angle positioning unit, a mouth interface unit and a vacuum source. The angle positioning unit is used for adjusting the relative angle range from the head, the neck and the upper trunk to the proper position for carrying out negative-pressure respiratory therapy of the user during sleep and providing negative pressure to the mouth interface unit through the vacuum source for transmitting to a mouth cavity. By utilizing negative pressure, the tongue and a soft palate can move forward and upward towards the mouth cavity. Therefore, the distance between the soft palate and the back wall of a throat can be increased so that patency degree of the upper respiratory tract of the user can be increased.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a medical device for improving breathing quality during sleep and its use method; in particular, the present invention relates to a system and method for improving upper airway patency of the user during sleep. Background technique [0002] Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), hypopnea (hypopnea) and Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS) are caused by complete or partial obstruction of the upper airway during sleep, during or after anesthesia Caused by various symptoms, they cause the interruption of breathing during sleep with a potential serious crisis of hypoxia in the blood. Patients with OSA, hypopnea and / or UARS experience frequent and repeated awakenings due to lack of oxygen during sleep, resulting in fragmented sleep and poor sleep quality. Some structures inside the patient's oral cavity, such as the tongue, soft palate, and uvula, may tend to move toward the upper airway, causing obstruction of the patient's upp...
