The control method comprises the steps of running according to an original variable frequency control mode when a refrigerating and energy-saving comfort instruction is received and the current indoor temperature is not smaller than a set indoor environment temperature threshold; otherwise, obtaining calculated compressor target frequency according to the original variable frequency control mode and judging whether the compressor target frequency is smaller than a first set compressor frequency; if so, controlling a compressor to run at the first set compressor frequency and controlling an outdoor fan to run at a set rotating speed; otherwise, controlling the compressor and the outdoor fan to run according to the original variable frequency control mode; executing room-temperature PID control or dual PID control including disk temperature PID control on the compressor in the original variable frequency control mode, determining a coil target temperature adopted in the disk temperature PID control according to the indoor real-time humidity, and compensating the indoor temperature in the room-temperature PID control. By using the control method, the energy-saving and refrigerating comfort of the air conditioner is improved.
