The invention relates to a heat conductive thermoplastic resin composite material and a preparation method thereof, wherein the composite material is prepared by the components by weight: 30-40 parts of thermoplastic resin, 18-36 parts of continuous fiber, 33-50 parts of heat conductive component, 0.4-0.45 parts of anti-oxidant, and 0-5 parts of coupling agent, and the composite material is obtained by heating and fusing, plasticizing, filming by showering, pressing, hot-pressing, cooling and fixing. Compared with the prior art, the composite material solves disadvantages of insufficient intensity and bad insulating properties of the heat conductive material, and the composite material has advantages of easy process and production, cost saving, no any pollution on environment and long service life, can save energy consumption, and enables heat to be rapidly conducted and radiated to reach a cooling purpose. On one hand, the heat conductive thermoplastic resin composite material has good heat conductive performance, and on the other hand, improves disadvantages of insufficient mechanical properties, large density and bad processing properties of the traditional heat conductive material.
