The method comprises the following steps that multiple base plates with the same specification are chosen, the upper surface of each base plate is evenly coated with a glue to be prepared into an insect gluing plate; sampling points are set in a field which needs to be surveyed according to a five-point sampling method, and four insect gluing plates are placed on each sampling point; the insect gluing plates on all sampling points are recycled every week, new insect gluing plates are replaced, and then the insect types and number on the recovered insect gluing plates are counted; the continuous counting cycle is 15-20 weeks.
