The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of 1) determining a specific centrifugal pump type based on given flow, lift and rotating speed; 2) accurately calculating a cutting impeller diameter meeting input parameter requirements based on the centrifugal pump type; 3) based on the calculated cutting impeller diameter, accurately calculating a performance curve equation under the cutting impeller diameter by adopting a least square method; 4) selecting an optimal matching motor for a centrifugal pump under a specific impeller diameter by adopting a motor matching algorithm; and 5) according to the centrifugal pump unit under the specific diameter obtained in the steps 1)-4), performing sorting from high to low according to efficiency, and automatically outputting product performance parameters and installation size maps of centrifugal pumps, thereby finishing accurate type selection work of the centrifugal pumps.
