The invention provides a ramp turning traffic command system based on a wireless sensor network. The system comprises a sensing module, an information processing module and a traffic reminding module.The sensing module is the wireless sensor network with a clustering structure and is used for acquiring vehicle information at a ramp turning position and transmitting the vehicle information to theinformation processing module. The information processing module generates a decision signal according to the vehicle information and transmits the decision signal to the traffic reminding module. Thetraffic reminding module generates reminding information or warning information. According to the ramp turning traffic command system, an intelligent traffic command system is realized through designing a wireless sensor network, thereby settling a traffic control problem at the ramp turning position.
