Abstract

Embodiments of the invention disclose a virtual machine scheduling method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a resource usage rate of a first physical host in a cloud platform;according to the resource usage rate, determining a virtual machine migration policy of the first physical host; and according to the virtual machine migration policy, migrating a virtual machine born by the first physical host. According to the method and the apparatus, the corresponding virtual machine migration policy is determined according to the resource usage rate of the physical host; andthe virtual machine is migrated according to the virtual machine migration policy, so that autonomous virtual machine scheduling is realized.
