Abstract

The invention discloses a parameter adjustment method and device for multimedia communication, and a mobile terminal. The method comprises the steps of when a first mobile terminal and a second mobileterminal perform multimedia communication, detecting whether a multimedia parameter used in the current multimedia communication needs adjusting; if it is detected that the multimedia parameter needsadjusting, generating a negotiation request of the multimedia parameter, and sending the negotiation request to the second mobile terminal; and when an acknowledgement message sent by the second mobile terminal in response to the negotiation request is received, adjusting the multimedia parameter used in the multimedia communication according to the acknowledgement message. Through adoption of the parameter adjustment method, multimedia communication quality is guaranteed.
