The invention also discloses the self-correcting electronic compass, which comprises a data acquisition module and a calculation module, wherein the acquisition module is used for acquiring the magnetic field data, and the calculation module is used for performing Levenberg-Marquardt optimization on the acquired magnetic field data to obtain the soft and hard magnetic correction matrix, and completing the calculation of the heading angle based on the calculation results of the soft and hard magnetic correction matrix.
