The method comprises the following steps: determining the magnetic field stability of a target position according to the difference between the total magnetic field strengths in a first interval; determining the magnetic field interference coefficient of each moment according to the difference between the total magnetic field strength of each moment and the total magnetic field strength of a target moment; determining the point source model fitting degree of a previous moment according to the difference between the magnetic field interference coefficients of each adjacent moment and the time length interval between each adjacent moment and an initial moment; determining a target time length according to the magnetic field interference coefficients in a second interval and the time length interval between each moment and the initial moment, and correcting the magnetic field data of each axis of the compass according to the difference between the magnetic field data of each axis of the target moment and the magnetic field data of the axis in the first interval and the target time length; and performing azimuth calibration on the compass according to the corrected magnetic field data of each axis and the latitude and longitude of the target position. The method can improve the accuracy of geological measurement.
