The invention discloses a program processing system which comprises a server, a first data device, a second data device, a gateway device and a live broadcast device, wherein the server is used for acquiring program playing data sent by the live broadcast device, determining hot-broadcast programs and common programs according to the program playing data, sending a list of the common programs to the first data device, and sending a list of the hot-broadcast programs to the second data device; the first data device is used for receiving the list of the common programs and converting the video data of the common programs in the list of the common programs into ethernet data signals; the second data device is used for receiving the list of the hot-broadcast programs and converting the video data of the hot-broadcast programs in the list of the hot-broadcast programs into a digital video broadcast DVB signal; the gateway device is used for acquiring the lists of the hot-broadcast programsand the common programs, pre-caching the video data of each hot-broadcast program in the list of the hot-broadcast programs, receiving a playing request sent by the live broadcast device, and sendingthe video data to the live broadcast device according to the playing request; and the live broadcast device is used for playing the hot-broadcast programs and the common programs.
