Embodiment 1

[0061] A method for adopting red-headed centipede to prey on dominant insects at airports, characterized in that it proceeds in the following steps:

[0062] (1) Choose a 1 m×1 m grassland to make a nylon mesh cover, and fix the frame of the mesh cover with thin insulating rods, the size is 1 m×1m×0.4 m, and bury the nylon mesh gauze in the soil for about 20 cm at the bottom. Cover the top with a 40-mesh nylon net, fix it with a stapler, and leave a small opening to facilitate food delivery;

[0063] (2) A total of 9 nylon mesh covers were prepared. According to the different types of natural enemies, 2 treatments and 1 control were set up. The two treatment groups were respectively placed in the insect natural enemies centipede and lizard, and the control group and the treatment group were placed in the same amount Large and small airport-dominant insects, Coleoptera bean blue chafer, Orthoptera migratory locust and Chinese grasshopper;

[0064] (3) Observe and record the ac...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preying on dominant insects in an airport by adopting scolopendra subspinipes. The method comprises the following steps: grassland with 1 m x 1 m is selected, nylon mesh covers are prepared, frame of each mesh cover is fixed by using a thin insulating rod, each mesh cover has a size of 1 m x 1 m x 0.4 m, the bottom adopts the manner that nylon mesh gauze is buried into soil for about 20 cm, the top is covered by using a 40-mesh nylon mesh, the nylon mesh is fixed by using a stapler, and a small opening is reserved to facilitate throwing of food; nine nylonmesh covers are prepared, two treatment groups and one control group are set according to different types of natural enemies, the natural enemies of the insects are put into two treatment groups, andthe dominant insects with a same quantity and size in the airport are put into the control groups and the treatment groups, wherein the dominant insects include popillia indgigonaceathe of coleopteranand locusta migratoria and acrida cinerea of orthoptera; and activities of the natural enemies and quantity change of the insects are observed and recorded every day. According to the method disclosed by the invention, experiments show that the natural enemies of the insects are introduced in a larger range of the airport, one or a plurality of different types of the natural enemies can be introduced at a time, measures such as enclosing and monitoring are implemented, and the method has important research significance for insect prevention and control and bird control in the airport.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of ecological security, and relates to a method for using red-headed centipedes to prey on dominant insects in airports. Background technique [0002] There are few foreign literatures on the study of airport insects, which are mainly related to the feeding habits of birds and the dominant arthropods that airports need to guard against. Some people analyzed the feeding habits of barn swallows, which are more insectivorous birds at Vancouver International Airport. Through anatomy, it was found that the main insect food comes from Hymenoptera, Hemiptera and Coleoptera, and barn swallows like to eat 4-8 mm long insects. A survey of New York International Airport in the United States shows that there are many kinds of arthropods in the airport flight area, and the number is huge, which is the species that the airport needs to focus on. Someone analyzed the bird strike accident at Namibia airport and found that...
