Problems solved by technology

Due to the dynamic, heterogeneous, and autonomous characteristics of Web services, and the distributed characteristics of services, most of the services integrated in the system come from different organizations, which causes the evolution of Web services to face more challenges than traditional software evolution.

Embodiment Construction

[0060] The present invention will be further described below.

[0061] An ontology-based Web service functional similarity measurement method. The functional similarity measurement considers the domain ontology concept of input and output between services. The matching between input (output) mainly refers to the matching of concepts related to input (output). In order to calculate the similarity of two concepts A and B, the relationship between the two concepts in the domain ontology needs to be considered.

[0062]A domain ontology is a specialized ontology that describes the knowledge of a specified domain. The "domain" here is established according to the needs of the ontology builder. It can be a subject domain, a combination of several domains, or a A small area within a field. If two concepts in domain ontology have different names but have the same set of individuals, they are called equivalent classes.

[0063] The measurement method includes the following steps:

Abstract

An ontology-based Web service function similarity measurement method comprises the following steps: first, calculating semantic similarity between two concepts A and B in a domain ontology; second, calculating semantic similarity between two concepts A and B in a domain ontology; The second step, combining with the concept similarity calculation method of the first step, gives the calculation method of input similarity Simput of service S1 and service S2; Thirdly, combining with the conceptual similarity calculation method of the first step, the calculation method of output similarity Simoutput of service S1 and service S2 is given. Fourthly, the functional similarity between the service S1 and the service S2 is calculated by combining the service input similarity SimOutput and the serviceoutput similarity SimOutput obtained in the second step and the third step (S1, S2). The invention can reasonably measure the functional similarity among the services and optimize the service clustering effect.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of Web service evolution, in particular to an ontology-based Web service function similarity measurement method. Background technique [0002] A web service is a software system designed to support cross-network interaction between machines. There are currently two main types of Web services: one based on SOAP and the other based on REST. The difference between the two is the different interfaces used. SOAP-based Web services use SOAP interfaces to transmit messages, and use Web Services Description Language (WSDL) to describe Web services. WSDL specifies the use of protocols and encoding independent mechanisms for Web service providers. It is an XML vocabulary that describes services accessible on the network and maps them into a collection of communication endpoints with messaging capabilities. Web services using REST interfaces use common HTTP methods (GET, DELETE, POST, and PUT) to describe, publish, and use rel...
