Abstract

The present invention discloses a method of information processing that may include: storing a first set of secrets associated with an information processing system in a credential vault of a management controller configured to be coupled to the information processing system a processor of a host system for providing management of said information handling system via management traffic communicated between said management controller and an external management network such that said first set of secrets is booted in response to authentication by a management controller capable of being accessed; and storing a second set of secrets associated with the information handling system in a memory of a cryptographic processor owned by the management controller such that authorization can be granted in response to an administrator providing authorization to the cryptographic processor access to the second set of secrets, and if the verified authorization is absent, preventing access to the second set of secrets during operation of the host system.
