The auditing system comprises: a server side pre-defining module; an auditing strategy manager module which is used for virtualizing the cloud desktop according to the predefined auditing strategy information, defining an auditing strategy of an auditing object, defining an effective time period and obtaining auditing strategy definition result information; an information collection module which is used for recording user operation behaviors of the virtual machine according to auditing strategy definition result information and sending recorded data to the distributed information collection middleware, and acquiring user behavior collection result information; an audit information data management module which is used for acquiring middleware data processing result information, and obtaining to-be-displayed result information according to the middleware data processing result information; and an audit data monitoring display module which is used for acquiring audit data monitoring display result information according to the to-be-displayed result information.
