Abstract

The invention relates to a base station antenna and a dual-polarized antenna oscillator thereof. Because each oscillator unit is provided with a main polarized radiation arm and an auxiliary radiationarm, current extends and flows along the main polarized radiation arm and the auxiliary radiation arm, thereby prolonging a current path and standardizing the current path. Furthermore, because the main polarized radiation arm extends along the polarization direction, most of the current paths on radiation sheets are consistent with the polarization direction of an oscillator unit. The area fraction of the current in the same direction as the polarization direction determines the intensity of the excitation field. Because the integral area of the current in the dual-polarization direction ofthe antenna oscillator is obviously increased, the gain is improved. Moreover, due to the increase of the current paths in the dual-polarization direction, the current paths perpendicular to the polarization direction are relatively reduced, so that the excited cross polarization current is very small, and the isolation degree is effectively improved. Therefore, the radiation indexes of the base station antenna and the dual-polarized antenna oscillator thereof are remarkably improved.
