According to the water distribution device and the control method thereof, automatic water supply of the intelligent household appliance can be intelligently and reliably completed, the life of a useris facilitated, and the user does not need to manually supply water to the intelligent household appliance; and one device can solve the water supply problem of a plurality of intelligent household appliances at the same time, and also solves the water quality safety problem of the intelligent household appliances.
